Jack Purvis
Jack Purvis was born on July 13, 1937 in London, England, UK. He was close friends with Kenny Baker (they shared a history of night-club and theatre work together and were partners in the Mini Tones) He was married to Marjie Purvis (1964-1997 his death), they had three children: Andrew; Katie (a SWAD alum), and Jason.
Purvis died in November 11, 1997 in Bushey, Hertfordshire, England, UK.

Mr. Purvis became paralyzed after an accident with his own vehicle after he'd parked it in 1991. The car accidentally 'got loose' of it's brakes and moved backwards on it's own, crushing Purvis between a wall and the car.
1949-1950 - joined the Boys Brigade group as a young man and performed in stage skits.
