"...Warren received the Bob Maza Award in recognition of a lifetime's work. A contemporary of Bob Maza, Wozza worked in film, television, and stage in productions as diverse as The Flying Doctors, Blue Heelers, Ocean Girl, Heartland, and D Generation Goes Commercial, Star Wars Episode III, and Ground Zero, Not Just Bricks and Mortar for the Aboriginal House Board of Victoria, No Sugar, Up the Ladder (Melbourne Workers' Theatre) and Julius Caesar (MTC). A whacker at any time, besides his immense body of work, and his role as Ilbijerri pin up boy on the poster ofr the 3rd & 4th Victorian Indigenous Playwright's Conference, Woz was also nominated for his generosity to young and emerging talent and his work with Indigenous prisoners at Barwon Prison in 2001.
