Wendy Leech was born on November 30, 1949, in Buckinghamshire, England, UK to George Leech and Elizabeth Mary Leech (née Hopkins.)

Leech is the daughter of SWAD alum/stuntman George Leech and the wife of SWAD alum/stuntman Vic Armstrong. Their children, Bruce, Scott, Nina, and Georgina all went into the stunt business.
