Garcia was once a S.O.R.T. (Special Operations Response Team) trained Sheriff for the Cook County Sheriff's Office in Chicago. 

Garcia spent 2 years training at The Poor School (Drama School) in London, England.

Garcia (who makes her living as an executive PA) is married to music producer/musician/songwriter, and SWAD alum, Vincent Garcia.
