Celia Fushille-Burke

Celia Fushille-Burke received her early training with Ingeborg Heuser in El Paso, TX. She later studied at the S.F. Ballet School on a full scholarship. While there she appeared in Smuin's The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet. She has performed with Ballet El Paso, S.F. Dance Theater and the S.F. Opera, in the role of the Polish mother in Death in Venice.

Fushille-Burke has been the artist director at the Smuin Ballet since 2007.

 Fushille-Burke's other roles include that of wife, and mother of two children.
