Alden Ehrenreich
Alden Caleb Ehrenreich was born on November 22, 1989 in Los Angeles, CA to Sari (née Newmann - an interior designer), and Mark Ehrenreich. He has a stepfather, Harry Aronowitz (an orthodontist).
Ehrenreich's interest in acting goes back to when he was a child, his parents would have family film festivals at their house of old movies including Charlie Chaplin films, the Marx Brothers, and a lot of Westerns (which were his mother's favorite genre), this is when his love of films developed as well. He started acting while at Palisades Elementary School, in Pacific Palisades, CA. He attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, CA and after graduating he studied acting at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University, New York, NY.
In 2009 Ehrenreich and Zoe Worth formed The Collectin in New York. They put together a group of 35-40 student actors, directors, producers, and writers (from Brown and NYU) who work collaboratively on film and theater projects. The Company is now primarily in Los Angeles, CA.

Discovered by Steven Spielberg. Spielberg was at a friends' daughters' Bat Mitzvah when he spotted Ehrenreich in a home-made video that was being shown. He was 14.
