Rob Coleman

Rob Coleman was born on April 27, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Coleman attended Crescent School in Toronto where he was editor of the yearbook and started the first Animation Club at the school.  He then attended Carleton University where he studied journalism and then transferred to Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where he earned a BFA in Classical Film Animation, he graduated in 1987.

Coleman started his animation career with the National Film Board of Canada then joined ILM in 1993.  Coleman has worked on Star Wars films ever since then, with a few projects in between.
