Diahann Carroll

 Diahann Carroll (born Carol Diahann Johnson) was born on July 17, 1935 in Harlem, the Bronx, New York, NY, US to John and Mable Johnson.  She attended high school at New York City High with fellow actor Billy Dee Williams.

Before becoming a singer and an actress Diahann was a model.

Diahann Carroll has been married 4 times: Monte Kay ('56), Fredde Glusman ('73), Robert DeLeon ('75-'77 his death), Vic Damone ('87-96).  In the 60's she was engaged to Sidney Poitier and in the 70's she was engaged to David Frost.   She has one daughter from Monte Kay, media journalist Suzanne Kay.
