Ian Abercrombie
Ian Henry Boyle Abercrombie was born on September 11, 1934 in Orsett, Grays, Essex, England, UK. He started in show business as a tap dancer in the 1940s where he performed in London, Scotland, Ireland, and Holland. His dancing earned him Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals in dance for the stage.
In 1951, Abercrombie traveled 12 days on the passenger ship Protea coming from Plymouth, England and arriving in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, when he was just 17 years old.
Abercrombie died on January 26, 2012 (Hollywood, CA) from complications of kidney failure (he had also been diagnosed with lymphoma), he was 77.
